Breaking News!
Hydrovision's Raptor 16 was selected by
Sail Magazine as one of the Best Boats for 2007 (pdf) and was a finalist in Sailing World's 2007 Boat of the Year Competition.

The Raptor is based on the Micronesian proa, a highly-evolved, exceptionally efficient and versatile watercraft whose speed and weatherly performance astonished Western sailors when they first encountered the proa nearly 500 years ago. Hydrovisions has taken this time-tested design and updated it with modern materials that are light and strong and added the unique Dualift Foil Truss™ (patent pending) that gives the Raptor exceptional performance and stability on both tacks. See a drawing of how it works here.
